I need a specific size or color, do you offer custom sizes and colors? 

Yes! We can do any size and have access to more color options. Contact us directly to learn more.

How do I know what range size to order? 

In the options, we have made it easy to order based on your ceiling height and range size. We also have a size chart on how to measure, here. Always measure twice before ordering, ranges are made to order and cannot be returned or refunded.

What is your return policy? 

Unfortunately we are unable to offer returns or refunds due to each order being made custom per the customer's request. But if you are not satisfied with your order please contact us directly so we can fix it. 

How long will it take for my order to ship? 

All products are made to order and take 6-8 weeks to build and based on your shipping options can take another 1-2 weeks. If you need something faster, please let us know when ordering.

I live in Arizona, do you offer local pick-up or delivery? 

Yes! We do offer local pickup at our warehouse in Mesa - simply select local pickup at checkout. We will email you directly to let you know when your order if ready to be picked up. Unfortunately we do not offer local delivery at this time, however, shipping options are available at checkout.

How do I care for my Steel & Stone products? 

All of our products are powder-coated or clear-coated. You can use a damp cloth or a non-oil-based cleaner to clean.

What are the benefits of tempered glass?

Tempered glass is stronger and safer. In the case it does break, it breaks into pebble-like pieces instead of sharp glass shards. It is also higher quality offering crystal clear quality. 

 

Door FAQs

How do I clean my doors?
We recommend a microfiber towel and glass cleaner, spray on the towel first then wipe the area down.

Why is there a gap under the door?
We leave a 1” gap under each door to ensure proper ventilation of room and space to clear for larger rugs.

How do the doors stay closed?
We use very strong magnets called neodymium magnets. They work well with holding the doors closed but also easy to open.

Are your doors soundproof?
They are not soundproof but do greatly decrease noise.

How thick is the glass?
All of our interior doors get ¼” thick glass unless reeded which is 3/16” thick.

Do you use tempered glass?
Yes, all of our doors come with tempered glass.

What are the doors made of?
Our doors are hand-fabricated from steel tubing and then powder-coated for durability and longevity.

Who installs the doors?
All of our products can be self-installed, if you need assistance with installation we recommend hiring a contractor to install for you. If you are local to our Arizona warehouse, we can also help with installation.

When is the best time to install our doors?
We recommend installing the doors after drywall; leaving a small gap that can be caulked in after installation.

When is the best time to measure the opening for my door?
The best time to measure is when your door opening is fully drywalled.

Range FAQs

What are the hoods made of?
All of our hoods are made of raw steel.

What kind of coating/paint are the hoods coated with?
Our hoods are powder coated with a long lasting durable finish.

What type of hood insert do you use?
We provide a GE range hood insert for all hoods with the exception to larger hoods that don’t accommodate it. All the inserts we use are highly rated for use and quality brands to ensure a smooth install.

How do we install the hood insert?
We recommend an appliance installation company or a handyman to connect any electrical and ducting needed.

How do the range hoods get installed?
